Nepal Energy Efficiency Programme (NEEP) has participated in the second Nepal International Trade Fair (NITF) organized by Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) from 8 March – 12 March 2013. NEEP disseminated information about its activities particularly energy efficiency in households and energy efficiency in industries to the visitors through a joint stall in the exhibition in partnership with FNCCI-Energy Efficiency Centre and Integration. About 400 visitors visited the stall and received information regarding potential and ongoing activities in Nepal in terms of energy efficiency both through on the spot explanations as well as leaflets. Similarly, NEEP has also conducted a survey on the level of awareness on energy efficiency among the visitors. The highlights of the results of the survey will be posted shortly.
